Job Description
Job Summary: Provide Level 1 Functional support
Broad Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
- Identify and diagnose issues and problems.
- Categorize and record reported queries and provide solutions.
- Support problem identification.
- Advise users on appropriate course of action.
- Monitor issues from start to resolution.
- Escalate, if needed, unresolved problems to a higher level of support.
Mandatory Skills:
- A technical, logical thought process
- Problem-solving skills
- An ability to prioritise and delegate
- MS Excel / SQL basics
Background:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science with 2 – 3 years’ experience in IT Support
